Paul Revere’s Tavern
1948-2014

For 66 years Paul Revere’s Tavern in Meridian Township has been a fixture on East Grand River Avenue, 33 of those years under current ownership. It has been a great run marked by friendships and good conversations that made the work of running a neighborhood bar worthwhile.

But to paraphrase the Book of Ecclesiastes and Pete Seeger, ‘to everything there is a season’ and so the time has come to close our doors. It may be among the worst or best kept secret in town that the Paul Revere’s property is being sold to new owners who will take it in a different direction.

For our patrons who have enjoyed Paul Revere’s New York-style pizza, we are pleased to report it’s not going away. It will be offered in the Greater Lansing area, precisely where and when will be announced in September. When that announcement is made we’ll post it here on our website.

Obviously, this is an emotional time for everyone. While we will always treasure our memories of the good times we’ve had over the years, we are focused on the future. For that reason we have elected to close effective today without any fanfare or going away parties. We hope everyone understands. We know you will.

To all of the patrons we have served, from our regular customers who we enjoyed seeing often to those who dropped by occasionally, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You have made the last 33 years enjoyable, to say the least.

Good luck and God bless.
